Windows Multi Boot
Grub2Win only allows a single Windows Boot Manager entry.
This is a Microsoft restriction.
There must only be one Windows Boot Manager per physical machine.
When you select that entry at boot time, the Windows Boot Manager will be loaded.
Microsoft does support multiple Windows installations on a single physical machine.
These multiple installations are called Windows instances.
The Windows Boot Manager will display a menu showing the available Windows instances.
Then you select the Windows instance you want to boot.
Windows instances are created when you install Windows to a machine.
Each Windows instance must be installed to a unique partition.
For example, Windows 11 could be installed to disk 0 partition 1.
Then on the same machine, Windows 10 could be installed to disk 0 partition 3.
You can also install multiple copies of the same Windows release to different partitions.
You can use the Grub2Win Windows Boot Menu Options screen to control the
Windows instance order and titles.
You can also set the Windows Boot Menu to either text or Metro graphic format.
